1) Conducting international forestry trainingprojects entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce, China, UNIDO, UNDP etc.Responsible for project application, implementation, management and evaluation etc..Have organized 58 courses/seminars/workshops covering the subjectsof bamboo technology, wildlife protection, forestry sustainable development etc., and trained 1601 participates from 105 countries.
2) Conducting domestic and international forestry applied research and policy research.
a).Bamboo species introduction and promotion. Introduced high-qualityexoticbamboospeciesfrom Thailand and France and successfullypromoted them in China;
b).Practical application research and policy researchon bamboofor some developingcountries likeIndonesia，Peru and Costa Rica.
c). Bamboo processing capability enhancement for developing countries. Selected and implemented bamboo processingprojects compatible with local society and economyconditions for some developing countries like Vanuatu and Costa Rica etc. to enhance their processing capacity of bamboo industry.
