Metabolic pathway and functional molecular in microbiology

Current focus is on the metabolic pathway and functional molecular such as key enzyme in anaerobic microorganism. The specific metabolic and energy pathway will be changed under different survival environment.
Our research aims to understand how the cell responds with such changes and the detail information pathway, key enzyme, energy module and regulation system. Multi-metabolic pathway not only expands the utilization of substrates and supply the technical guide for the engineering strain, but also offers the natural material for the bio-catalyst construction in agriculture, environment pollution and so on. Ten academic papaers were published on high index academic journals including Angewandte Chemie.
Presided over projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences, and Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Cooperation Program.
